I live in Upstate New York with my husband, two children and a variety of pets. I live within a 1-3 hour drive from Elmira, Rochester, Binghamton and Syracuse.
I enjoy writing on a variety of topics. I've written non-fiction articles on alcoholism, Alzheimer's Disease, Attention Deficit Disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Lupus, MADD (Mothers Against Drunk Driving), Rheumatoid Arthritis, historical pieces (Westerville, OH), finances for Seniors (Medicaid, Medicare) and eldercare issues, keyword articles (homeschooling, weddings, dating, family, pets, traveling and more). I have contributed to the following websites:

I also enjoy writing fiction pieces for both children and adults. I've penned several stories for young children including Norman's Christmas and Annie's Pumpkin. My most recent adult non-fiction story, Separation, was written in memory (and about) my grandfather's trek to America from Finland for the Writer's Digest annual contest. In October, 2007 I published a young adult fiction mystery book, Shannon O'Reilly: A Haunted Life.
My love of writing began in high school when I started writing feature articles for the Athens Senior High School paper in The Plains, Ohio. I then went on to become a feature writer for the Franklin University Almanac in Columbus, Ohio and college yearbook editor for Otterbein College's Sybil.
